Getting your Trinity Audio player ready... |
For about two years now, TrinityApologetics has mostly been a blogging website. It’s been a space where I’ve shared thoughts, arguments, and insights on Christian apologetics. However, I’ve decided to shift our direction slightly. I want to make other projects and resources that can be both edifying and helpful to believers. This isn’t about abandoning the blog—it’s about building on it with tools that can do more for people’s faith and understanding. So far, I’ve created two projects: VerseShort.com and DailyQuran.xyz.
VerseShort.com
Now, for the most part, both of these resources are at their infancy and may be scrapped in the future if they don’t pan out. That said, VerseShort.com is a daily Bible verse website. It’s pretty straightforward, and I think the “why” behind it is obvious. It provides a daily Bible verse for someone to read, and each verse follows a theme. So, one day might tie into hope, another into forgiveness. It’s a simple way for believers to get a bite-sized piece of Scripture every day, something they can chew on, pray over, or maybe even use as a launchpad for deeper study.
DailyQuran.xyz
Then there’s DailyQuran.xyz, which is, well… a daily Quran verse website. But here’s the twist—it’s not what you might expect. Why did I a Christian create a daily Quran website? Honestly, it’s a satirical website that, yes, serves the purpose of its name by posting a new verse every day. But if you read the daily Quran verses every day, you’ll notice a trend. It’s meant to show the “peacefulness” of Islam in all of its glory by providing readers with the passages about killing Christians, Jews, and Pagans. I’m not cherry-picking to be mean; I’m highlighting what’s there to spark some thought. So, I hope this clears up why I made that website—it’s about exposing what I see as a stark contrast to what’s often said about Islam. Using the Islamic sources. (Quran so far, but may include the hadith someday.)
How Will I Expand on These Tools?
So, why did I create these tools, and how will I expand on them? VerseShort.com could grow into something more interactive—maybe adding notes or ways to track what you’ve read. DailyQuran.xyz might stick around as a conversation starter or evolve depending on feedback. But these are just the beginning. I’ve got bigger plans brewing for the future, and I’m excited to roll them out.
Future Projects
For future projects, I have a lot planned. Firstly, some polemical resources, like Islamicdilemma.net. This will be a resource to help equip Christians with the knowledge of how to both defend the Christian faith as well as expose Islam. It’s not about picking a fight, it’s about giving believers solid info to stand their ground and answer tough questions. Think of it as a toolkit for anyone who wants to dig into the differences between Christianity and Islam and know how to talk about it.
Other future projects might include a fully operational Bible app/website. I know, very original, right? But don’t worry, I plan on adding some additional features to help set it apart from all the others. Maybe stuff like themed reading plans, a way to cross-reference verses on the fly, or even audio options for people who like to listen. I’m still brainstorming, but the goal is to make it useful and different.
Then there’s a Discord community for those who like the Discord chatroom structure and want to be able to chat, ask, or answer questions. It’d be a place where people can hang out, toss around ideas, or get help with whatever’s on their mind—faith-related or otherwise. I like the idea of a real-time spot for believers to connect.
Another fun one is some quizzes. These quizzes would be separated into two categories: fun and serious. The fun ones would be akin to BuzzFeed quizzes—like “Which Bible Character Are You?” Just lighthearted stuff to mess around with. The serious ones would be more for educational purposes, testing your knowledge on theology, Bible stories, or apologetics. These might even include printable or classroom-ready formats as well, so teachers or small group leaders could use them. They’ll cover a range of age groups and topics, from kids to adults, and from basic stuff to the deep end.
Keeping It Free and Accessible
Furthermore, I would like to clarify that all of these projects will be completely free. One of my goals is to ensure that every resource I put out is relatively accessible. I don’t want money to be a wall keeping people from good tools. Whether it’s a broke college kid or someone in a country where Christian stuff is hard to come by, I want this to be there for them, no strings attached.
So, that’s some of the plan for TrinityApologetics moving forward. It’s still early days for some of this, and things might shift as I go, but I’m pumped about where it’s headed. I want to build stuff that’s edifying and helpful to believers. Thanks for sticking with me this far, and keep an eye out—I’ll let you know when more of this rolls out!
